Hello everybody! Three years ago I released my first CD. I was out on the road touring and promoting it when I got into a terrible car accident! I was on my way home from a gig at a festival in East Texas when I hit a couple of wild hogs. My car flipped the length of a football field and I woke up in the hospital. I fractured my neck and had severe damage to my right hand. My doctor told me at the hospital that there was a chance I might never play guitar again.
Well, three years later (almost exactly!) I am finishing up a new CD and I have played all of the guitar on it myself! Over the last three years I have experienced the incredible healing power of faith, determination, and community. I have learned that in most situations, the only thing keeping me from doing what I dream to do is myself. These songs are songs about healing, faith, love, heartbreak... pretty much what it is like to have been me over the last three years. I really believe in these songs and I can't wait to bring them to you! I have been working with Lyndon Hughes as my co-producer at Stormy Cooper Media in Houston, Texas. This album will have 11 new original songs. We are hoping to release it this summer!
I have already done most of the recording, but now it is time to finish up the production and get the product to your ears! I still have to pay for artwork, mastering, printing, and marketing. I want to bring my story to as many people as possible, and with your help we can do this!

A few months after the car accident, the amazing community of musicians I am blessed to know put together a benefit concert. I was so determined to play guitar again that I worked with my occupational therapist until I could finally hold a guitar pick. Here is a video of the song I played at the benefit! I was still wearing a neck brace and I threw my guitar pick on the ground a few times, but I did it! I don't think I have ever felt a better feeling than what I felt that day. Also, this song will be on the upcoming CD.
