Resurface/add on to Albany skatepark.

The Albany Oregon skatepark opened in 1999. It was smooth and amazing but years and years of heavy use day in and day out have made the concrete very rough and chipped. Not sure how much it would cost to resurface but it needs it badly!
The skateparks 15,000 square feet is small compared to a lot of skateparks built in recent years throughout the state. The empty field that connects right to the skatepark has been just that since the park opened, an empty field that will never be used. Why not expand? The majority of this goal would be for an expansion of the skatepark. I want my kids to be able to enjoy a smooth, clean and hopefully bigger skatepark.

When this park was built the community raised $275,000! All private donations! Not anything from the city! If that kind of money could be raised back then without things like Facebook and GoFundMe then we can certainly raise enough to fix up our skatepark and even expand it. Even if it's just laying down some concrete with some concrete ledges and a rail to skate (the park used to have a rail)
