A Promise in Spain

Hello Everyone!
I am J. Promise. I am a student at the University of North Florida studying public relations and Spanish. My heart has always been and always will be people. I love people SO much. I believe it is because Jesus Christ first loved me.
This year I have the wonderful opportunity to move to Spain for a year to study abroad. There, I not only hope to perfect my Spanish but, I hope to connect with a new culture in a very real way. I believe it is our duty as human beings to learn from each other. If we would take the time to understand other cultures, there would be less hate in the world.
While overseas, I want to be a positive representative of American culture. I truly feel that God has called me to Spain to do amazing things.
There have been many obstacles that have come my way. God has bull-dozed through every last one. There is one final obstacle, money. Through work, scholarships and aid, I have two-thirds of what I need. I will continue working, but as my journey to Spain nears I am left to do the thing I struggle with the most; ask for help. I have enough to get to Spain, I just need some help staying there!
I feel led to go to Spain. I know I will study at a university there, but I feel as if God has something else planned too for my time there. My deepest desire is that everyone who comes across my page will join me in community and prayer for the final obstacle. I know that not everyone can donate, and few can make large donations; that is okay. I would appreciate it if everyone would pray, because prayer is more powerful than money. Those that are able, thank you for your donations.
