Spring is on the way. Really it is.
So….in my travels and through Facebook I heard from so many of you during the storms that when this is over you would like to support doing something for our public safety team. For the DPW and contractors that plowed all night for night after night, for the Police and Fire who responded to calls through the snow, and for the Emergency Management volunteers that opened the shelter and manned the phones, we’re going to be hosting a breakfast! And here’s how you can help.
Because city accounts are complicated, we thought the best way for people to give is through setting up a GoFundMe site. So for all of you out there that want to say thank you to our public safety officials for helping us survive the almost 100 inches of snow we got in less than a month, you can now contribute toward the breakfast online.
Let’s give a big Leominster thank you to all those that gave their all to make sure our City stayed safe and stayed open during some of the worst weather in years.
