Tom House and Scott Blodgett have founded, Angels from America! With your donations, we will open a children's library and learning center, in a Brazilian favela (slum). In the past, I have lived in Rio das Pedras, on and off, for 10 years. I know the need up close and personal. So many of these children, are my little friends They have no library and need our help!
Our donations will open a library and learning center, available to a thousand kids. 100% of all proceeds will be used to lease a space, hire a reading teacher, buy books, tables, chairs, utilities etc.
In coordination with Cleusa Cruz ( Rio das Pedras children's advocate ), we will teach children to read.
Remember, if a child can't read, a child can't learn!
