Transportation Van For My Brother

`Hello!
My name is John. My brother, Andrew, has a DMD, (Duchenne muscular dystrophy) a muscle disease that stops the body from making chemicals that rebuild muscle. Thus far, we have been struggling to transport him and his scooter with our SUV, and we are soon getting a even harder to transport powerchair. We have been looking for a van and we have found one that would work great, however, specialty vans do not come cheap. Anything you can do to help us be able to transport my brother would be very much appreciated.
