I am Curtis Anderson and I am a senior in Selling and Sales Management at Purdue Univerisity. For my senior capstone project I have the difficult task of raising $500 for a charity in the next 72 hours.
Nearly 30,000 children in our region are food insecure
Over 86,000 residents struggle with hunger in our service area.
Over half of Food Finders Food Bank clients have to choose between buying food and paying for basic necessities like rent and clothing.
These are staggering numbers, it is very hard to imagine that in this day and age there could be so many people falling asleep hungry every night while so many of us live such lavish lives.
In order to combat this hunger epidemic Food Finders Food Bank has a number of programs to provide backpacks for children, meals for kids over summer break, mobile food pantries for low income areas, and monthly food deliveries for homebound seniors struggling with food insecurity.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. If you want to help me graduate by supporting my project or if you are interested in supporting the hungry children and adults in north central Indiana every dollar counts. It only takes $25 dollars to provide 75 meals.
