Who Am I?

My name is Chanel Carter-Harris, and I am a sophomore Architecture student at Virginia Tech. I knew that I wanted to be an architect since I was eleven years old. Since then, I have dedicated my life to design and problem solving. While being a student at Virginia Tech is great, I want to explore as many opportunities as I possibly can. There are many study abroad and internship programs, reaching from California all the way to Japan. But of course, with most things, funding is crucial. This is where you come in.

My passion is designing, so I am happy to share this with all of you! Those opportunities that I mentioned are just within my reach, and I need your help. My book design collection is inspired by nature, where the most simple can also be the most beautiful. I developed this project after taking a book-making course freshman year. I fell in love with the art, and I am now using my skills to guide me towards a better tomorrow.
