Medical Missions Trip to Mexico

The last two and a half years at Colorado Christian University have been such a wonderful experience for me in all realms of my life.  My faith, academics, and friendships have all grown and been incredibly enriched by the Denver and CCU atmosphere.  One of the things stressed to us as students is using our gifts to serve our community and those around us.  This last year I was compelled to share all that I've been learning in the science department at CCU.  With that, I will be going to Puerto Penasco, Mexico in May for 9 days with my fellow science majors to serve in the medical missions field.  Puerto Penasco is a community just a few hours south of the border that is known mainly for it's beach and tourist attractions.  However, the underserved population lives in extreme poverty and illness.  My team will be going into the impoverished communities and offering medical care through a program called International Service Learning.  ISL is a program that has clinics set up in many poverty stricken areas around the world.  Under some incredible doctors and wonderful people, we will have the opportunity not only to serve others, but also to learn and grow ourselves.  I am so thrilled to be going to Mexico and will spend the rest of the year preparing academically, spiritually, and financially for this trip.  The overall cost of my trip will be roughly $1500 and I would love to have your support along the way.  Your financial donation is greatly appreciated, but your prayers mean even more.  Thank you so much for your love and support,
