Help get Philly Man his surgery.

Good Morning World,

Me and my Family are hoping to raise $5,000 to help pay for our 12 Year Old Black Lab Philly's Leg Surgery. We all came home from Work on Thursday 06/19/14 to find him limping severely and unable to put any pressure on his back left leg. When we took him to the Vet, Bloodwork and Xrays were taken and we discovered he had a Hairline Fracture where his Femur meets the Hip. Our normal Vet indicated that he could not conduct the surgery and that it would require a Orthopedic Specialist as Pins will need to be inserted and bone shaved down. We spent $700 on the diagnosis and were told another





$5,000 would be needed for the surgery. We dont have a savings account as we are just working to make it and live in and provide for our family while living in California.

Philly has been in the Family since before both of my Children were born,we adopted him from the Dublin,Ca Animal Shelter. He was a sparky little guy and stood out from the 9 other brothers and sisters he had that were also looking to find forever homes, I have always said, WE hit the jackpot, he is truly a 1 of a kind companion, he loves our kids and our kids love him. The call him Brother Phil. He is normally so full of life and zest, he has sooo much more life left inside of him and this is not his time to go. Philly is a True Character, his favorite past times are Shooting Pool, YES Shooting Pool,the 49ers, taking pictures, having his base of the tail scratched and he will sing to you. WOO WOO WOOO WOOOOO. All he ever wants is to be part of the family and included in family get togethers.  He is an intrical part of this family and we only want to try and return some of the love that he has provided for us over the last 12 years, he deserves to be comfortable and not be in pain. He is a good boy

I Promise that if we hit our $5,000 Mark and can get our Boy Philly this surgery, I will within a calendar year donate Dollar for Dollar the exact amount of funds that we generate back to the Community in the form of donations to local SPCA's, School Sports Programs,BAD Rap and a couple of others.
