URGENT! Sunny Broke His Leg Please Help

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by our page to read our story. We hope and would consider ourselves very blessed for recieving your support.
Sunny, our big orange lovebug of a cat, came home this morning with a broken leg. His back leg was badly broken and clearly needs professional attention.
I have applied for help at a Veterinary finacing company but unfortunately I do not qualify for a loan. We refuse to just give up on Sunny so we decided to reach out to other animal lovers to ask for help.
Sunny has yet to make his first visit to the vet. We called in to get a rough idea of what the costs will be and we are looking at $270 for the x-rays and initial visit.
Sunny will need surgery to either set the bones or have the leg partially amputated. Amputation, I am told is usually quite lower in cost, but which ever type of treatment that will be best for him will require him to be several days in the hospital. We are looking at expenses that could run us up to $2500 cnd.
I hate to think of what I will be forced to do if we can't successfully raise the money. Sunny will end up being put to sleep and going to Kitty Heaven before his time.
Sunny is in wonderful spirits despite his injury and we would just hate to give up on him because of lack of funds. We hope that you will help us save not only Sunny's leg but his life.
Any excess funds will go to a local pet shelter or to another needy animal here on GoFundMe.
