A Homeless Winter

Our organisation represents the homeless, rough sleepers, out in the street in such harsh weather conditions. We aim to help them be a little more comfortable while they are sleeping rough. We also aim to provide them with information about help that they may not have heard about.

In summary, we hope to raise awareness so that more of the UK’s citizens would offer help to the ever expanding homeless community and raise funds so that we can provide the homeless community with items that will help sustain them in this cold weather, with hope to continue even into the summer months and following years.

We are ordinary people, just like you, but we have seen the suffering that goes on, in our streets and we have decided to help. We are a new and upcoming not-for-profit organization. We have spent some time with homeless people, we have gone out and fed some of the homeless around Bristol and London through volunteering and we have spent our own wages on clothing them. We are happy to conti

nue to do what we are doing, but we have learnt that the homeless community has become almost invisible and completely isolated. As individuals we do not have enough to help the whole of this community, but through raising awareness and funds we can help more and more homeless people and would be able to do so more often.



Our vision is to help provide medium term aid to the UK’s homeless community, beginning in London with hopes to expand into the rest of the country.

We want to offer winter packs that will have the rough sleeper’s best interests at heart in these cold and bleak months. In these winter packs, we have hopes to provide waterproof overalls that they could wear to keep themselves dry in the wet and windy weather; also providing them with hoodies or jumpers, joggers, socks, hats, gloves and scarves to keep them warm. In addition to clothing we hope to provide them with some personal hygiene equipment, for example toothbrushes and paste, deodorant and anti-bacterial wipes and hand gels.
