AB Suns Going to the World Series!

ATLANTIC BEACH SUNS BASEBALL IS HEADING TO THE 2016 CAL RIPKEN WORLD SERIES!
Atlantic Beach is not a huge city, and our baseball program draws kids who live 10 miles or less from the ballpark. The Atlantic Beach Suns practice and play on fields that share a parking lot with the local police and fire department. But our boys work hard and dream big, and over the past four years, the Suns have earned 4 district championships, 3 state championships, 2 trips to regional tournaments . . . and now 1 regional championship win.
For the first time ever, a team from North Florida will represent the Southeast Region at the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, MD from July 29th through August 6th. There they will have the opportunity to meet and play against 9 other regional champion teams from around the United States and from 8 foreign countries, including Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.
While the trip for the team is a chance of a lifetime, the expenses for them and their families are not insignificant, and donations will be used to offset their travel and living expenses to spend a week up in Maryland. The boys have spent years of practicing throws, hitting in the batting cage, sweating on hot dusty fields, icing arms, spitting seeds, cheering each other on and picking each other up when things don't go their way . . . all toward this chance to represent Atlantic Beach, Florida and the entire Southeast Region at the World Series. Any donations are so appreciated.
