The Marana Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Town of Marana and Marana Unified School District, is fundraising for our community's road to the All-America City Award.
The National Civic League is proud to announce Marana, Arizona as a finalist for the 2016 All-America City Award (AAC). The award, given to 10 communities each year, celebrates and recognizes neighborhoods, villages, towns, cities, counties, tribes and regions that engage residents in innovative, inclusive and effective efforts to tackle critical challenges.
2016 FOCUS: COMMUNITIES THAT ENSURE ALL CHILDREN ARE HEALTHY AND SUPPORTED TO SUCCEED IN SCHOOL AND LIFE.
A Marana delegation will present their story and programs to a jury of nationally recognized business, local government, and philanthropic leaders on June 17-19, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. Through workshops they will share insights with innovators from across the country. The event is every bit as much about learning and networking as it is about competing for the coveted All-America City title.

Why are we asking for your help? As you can imagine, taking a team of 30 or more to Denver has a cost attached to it. Travel, lodging, food, and registering every team member for the All-America City Conference ($100 apiece) - this all adds up quickly. Your contribution will help to send members of our delegation - the vast majority of which will be MUSD students - to Denver to compete for the award.
