Grey Havens YA is a book discussion and creative group open to members in grades 6-12. These self-proclaimed young geeks and nerds meet once a week to discuss young adult science fiction and fantasy, to work on creative projects and to talk about what it is like growing up around muggles. Grey Havens YA is a place where young people never have to be afraid to show their enthusiasm for reading, for the imagination or for life!

The founders of Grey Havens YA have been given an oportunity to present at Mythcon 45, where they will tell the world about Grey Havens YA, the importance of fantasy films/tv shows/literature in young adult culture, and the impact we are having on our communities. Mythcon is the annual conference of the Mythopoeic Society (mythsoc.org). It is attended by the best scholars and educators in the field of mythic literature. Our members have worked very hard to become a part of this worldwide community and deserve a chance to be recognized for their accomplishments! Will you help?
We need to raise at least $500 by July 1 to secure a place at the conference for Robyn Bosica, one of our group's tireless founders. After that, we will need to be able to purchase transportation and room and board as quickly as possible to make these purchases cost-effective. Thank you for helping Grey Havens YA to make its mark on the international community!
