Climbing for Elephants

Hi! My name is Victoria and my mission is to raise money for the Big Life Foundation in the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem of East Africa. I am committed to this goal by hopefully raising some money by ascending the 4566m high Mt. Meru in Tanzania in August.I have never climbed a mountain in my life and I hope this climb can raise awareness to RISE UP for elephants, animals and the people in the threatened ecosystems of East Africa.



I was heartbroken upon hearing the tragic news of Satao the Magnificant bull elephant of Tsavo this spring, thinking that he and thousands of amazing animals are slaughtered just for a few peoples greed. I realized it was time for me to also take action so up I go to the top of a mountain to shout out a little awareness for this amazing Foundation and for Elephants everywhere!

I will pay for all the climbing costs (equipment, food, guides, guards, transport to base camp etc) so every penny of the fundraising goal will go to the Big Life Foundation and the elephants!
