Morgann is having brain surgery

My granddaughter Morgann is having brain surgery June 18 at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Tx. She will be 6 on June 13. She has a condition called chiari malformation and syringomyelia. Our story began about 2 1/2 years ago with headaches she went to gp and he sent us to neurologist he put her on a med for allergies. It only helped a little so he sent us for MRI. It showed a syrinx or ( syringomelia) he sent us to neurosurgeon where we found out that she had chiari malformation. He recommended surgery. However we were not comfortable with the first Dr. So we did some research. We found Dr. Timothy George in Austin, Tx we loved him he was great with Morgann.To explain chiari she was born with the hole at the bottom of her skull to small. At the bottom of your brain you have tonsils like in your throat but they are stuck in the opening blocking the cerebral spinal fluid that is suppose to circulate around your brain and spinal cord. This has caused a Syrinx which Is a cyst in the middle of your spinal canal it can cause paralysis if not corrected. So far she only has stuttering,choking and headaches and on occasions bladder issues. This is a rare disease. If you can help with medical bills we would appreciate it but only if it doesn't put you in a bind.We would appreciate prayers as well.
