Free CoderDojo for Kids

We launched our first coderdojo class on May 2, and have held more since then on May 9, May 16, and May 30.  Our search for a large donated space has been unsuccessful, and in order to provide much-needed skills and opportunities for kids (8-18) and parents in our community, we've been renting a library and city hall council chambers. 

With extremely limited funds, this model will not survive without community investment. The amount we request will cover:

a) rental fees for 3 hours on most Saturdays;

b) marketing and outreach - flyers, small online ads; and

c) the purchase of loaner laptops for students who cannot afford their own.
