Washburn Destination Imagination

Washburn Destination Imagination(DI)  is a program where young teens get to put their imagination, technical skills,  and acting talents to the test.  This year Washburn's DI team "DI Borg" competed in the technical challenge "Creature Feature"  where they had to incorporate a functional creature that would interact with team members as well as the set pieces they built.  I am proud to say our team placed 1st in the state and was invited to attend Global competition held in Knoxville Tennessee!  Coming from a small town, there is no funding from the school to assist these talented students to Globals.  These students are working very hard to raise the money they need for the trip, but could use assistance to help with registration and transportation fees.  If you donate within the reward levels team DI Borg will send you something to make you part of the team!
