Foster = Hope, Love and a Second Chance

Such a simple notion that can have such a large and lasting impact for so many defenseless animals.

The West Valley Humane Society cares for over 4,000 homeless and abandoned pets every year, and the need for fostering orphaned and unweaned pets is growing quickly.. and kitten/puppy season is upon us!

A new life doesn't have to end in a shelter... With YOUR help, we can give new life hope for a brighter future.

**********************************************

THE NEED:
Our shelter is seeking donations for our foster program. A program vital to the hundreds of newborn and juvenile animals that cross through our doors every year. Without donations to support our foster program, we would be unable to give hope and a second chance to those new lives.

THE IMPACT:
YOUR donation will make it possible for our shelter to provide the foster homes, medical care and treatment, food and bottle feeding supplies that are so desperately important to our mission of saving animals. YOUR donation will also help to prepare those foster pets for their new homes by providing the funds for their spays and neuters, microchips and lifesaving vaccinations.

Start where you are, use what you can, do what you can to change a life...

A TRUE STORY FROM WEST VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY:

On January 22nd, 2015, we received a desperate phone call from a mother who's son had a pair of Shar Pei's with six two week old puppies in tow.

The puppies and the parents were abandoned by a family member, with little care...

We knew we couldn't sit idly by while these precious new lives were just beginning.. so we offered to help.

Mom, dad and babies are now SAFE in our shelter. Mom and babies went to a foster home the same evening and 'dad' is receiving the vet care that he needs to ready him for his new, adoptive family.
'Life always offers a second chance.. It's called tomorrow'

*******************************
Thanks to generous donations from our supporters, we are able to take in pregnant and nursing mothers, orphaned puppies and kittens, and juveniles who have lost their way in the world.

We shelter them, give them food, love and support. Medical care and show them the kidness that they have never known.

Without donations like YOURS, we are limited in our capacity to help.

THANK YOU for your help. THANK YOU for your heart, and THANK YOU for your generous donation to help us towards our goal of giving new life a second chance!

TODAY, going on four years strong, we are elated to spread the word that our SAVE RATE is 90%

This is thanks in large part to the community for spreading the word about shelter pet adoption, donations, community outreach programs and educating the public on spay and neuter, keeping their pets safe and at home as well as volunteer and foster programs that help to increase the adoptability of our pets.
