WCHS Band & Colorguard

After speaking with the BPA executive board and Mr. Olivas, we have learned that the Bulldog Band & Colorguard are in very serious need of help!

With the state laws limiting the bands ability to ask for money, and not allow them to charge a "fee" of any kind it has put the program in serious jeopardy.

They do not currently have the funds to pay entry fees to festivals or competitions. Props and uniforms have already been purchased and those invoices are due. Staff can no longer work for "free" and some have already decide they can't wait for paychecks any longer.

All of this comes at a huge expense to the motivation, education, momentum and future progress of the program

We are asking you to dig deep, and consider making a donation to the program.Finally, if you think there is someone in your database that could help. There are several sponsorship opportunities available. The BPA would love to hear from potential sponsors.

Please help these kids get out of this season, and ensure that there will in fact be a season to look forward to in the fall.
