John & Buffy VanAnden have been an integral part of the Saranac Lake landscape for many years. They have run the Lakeview Deli and supplied many, if not all of us, with a delicious sandwich or meal over that last 20+ years. They have raised their children, Katy & Johnny, here and they continue to help in the family business. The VanAndens and the Lakeview Deli have been there for the community over the years whether it is in donating food, time or money to help make Saranac Lake the wonderdful place to live. Now it's time for the community to give back. John has had a series of health setbacks and the bills are mounting. They are expected to handle medical expenses, as well as hotel stays in Burlington for the family and travel back and forth. This has been going on for several months and is putting a great financial strain on the family. Please give what you can to help defray these costs. Thank you.
