Tristan really wants a brother or sister.

So family and friends... here is our story, I have had a history of Endometriosis, which  is a female health disorder that occurs when cells from the lining of the womb (uterus) grow in other areas of the body. This can lead to pain, irregular bleeding, and problems getting pregnant (infertility).  I have had this condition since adolescence and was concerned when I first discovered that it could possibly lead to not have the children we had dreamed of having our entire lives.  I was the one at school when the teachers asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I always replied "a Mom" they would giggle and say no you have to choose a "career" I was confused by this knowing even as a child that this is what I wanted more than anything.  I played with baby dolls much longer than most of my friends (embarrassing to admit but true.)  I eventually came to terms that I had to work, for the future of my children so they can have the very best future possible so I decided on a field surrounded by children, either a teacher or nurse.  I ended up deciding on a nurse, I work with troubled teens, and LOVE my job, however the job I do indeed love most is the one I have at home with my husband and son.

We were blessed in 2006 to become pregnant with our beautiful son Tristan who is now six. I had already had one procedure to clear my endometriosis before he was conceived, but as the years have gone on, my condition has got worse, and have had more surgeries since, and have damaged my tubes from the endometriosis, so I have to have them both removed and my only chance left at anymore children is through IVF. Joe and I always pictured ourselves surrounded with children and grandchildren.  But now with secondary infertility, I fear I may not get that opportunity.  We have student loan debt that we are still paying on so at this time do not qualify for a medical loan, and I have also been told that my egg reserve is low, which also means I don't have much "good eggs" left, so the longer I wait, the more slim my chances at IVF are even good.

Tristan asks nearly daily, when am I going to get a brother or sister, he points little baby things out in stores and says he's going to buy that for his "baby" someday, but what if that someday never comes???  He talks about the things he will help with, such as ; feeding, comforting, and reading to the baby, as well as his DEFINITE not...changing diapers (haha).  Our family would love to be pregnant by the holidays if that is possible, if not shortly after.  We have found an AWESOME fertility specialist with over 80% success rate, which is good in the infertility world.  Unfortunately in Missouri, IVF is not covered through insurance.  So I am opening up about something that would normally be kept a close secret and hope that any donation you can contribute to help us achieve our dreams would be FOREVER a blessing and we thank with all that we are!!!  If you have any questions at all, message me and I can explain further.  Thanks for taking the time to read our story.  God Bless, Love Joe, Nicole and Tristan Pusczek
