Townsend Family Recovery Fund

On Monday June the 8th (2015) the single-wide trailer our family of 7 lived in caught fire. 

Between the fire, the heat and the smoke, our home is a total loss.  We are trying to salvage what we can but the large majority of our belongings cannot be saved. 

We did not have homeowners insurance so there will be no replacement monies coming.  Also, the insurance company had a policy on the trailer but it's maximum payout is going to still leave us owing ~$800.00 on our mortgage debt.

We are trying to raise money to help us in the recovery process including paying off our mortgage debt if the mortgage company won't forgive our debt.  We need to get the burned trailer removed and purchase gas and food. 

We are looking at the possibility of purchasing an older double-wide mobile home and will need to raise the monies to have it moved and set up. (possibility because we have to get the ok from the county we would be moving it from and our county)  If that doesn't work out we'll need the monies for a home somewhere, somehow.

We are also going to need some monies for everyday essentials, clothing and such as the weeks go by.  Our girls had dance clothes and liturgical wear because they do praise dance in church and this needs to be replaced as well.  They will be dancing at an event at the end of June and they don't have the clothes they need for that event.

My youngest son is homeschooled and all his work was on his laptop which had all the keys melted off and was totally warped.  We might be able to salvage his harddrive but we need to get him another laptop.  

Thankfully our vehicles were safe from the fire but two of them are giving us problems and may need to be checked out by a mechanic.
