If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter (@HACCSki), you will see that I am passionate about helping HACC students reach their educational goals. In addition, I am quite passionate about the sport of cycling.
How do these two passions relate?
Every year, I take one week to ride by myself and reflect upon the successes from the previous academic year and plan for the next academic year. This year, from May 26 to June 2, 2017, I will be cycling more than 600 miles from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Nashville, Tennessee, in an effort to raise funds in support of our students! However, I need YOUR help.
Did you know that some HACC students face homelessness? Others have struggled through house fires, health emergencies and unexpected vehicle repairs ALL while trying to complete their education. Some students have dropped out due to these unfortunate events.
Will YOU give and make the difference for just one HACC student? Your tax-deductible contribution to the HACC Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
HACC’s student emergency assistance funds empower students to achieve their educational goals by helping to cover a portion of an unexpected expense related to a crisis.
HACC students are our future community leaders. When HACC students succeed, our community succeeds.
