Hello, my fellow polyamorists and poly allies. <3
Remember the time before you knew the verbiage for accurately describing your feelings and relationships? Remember when you learned about a whole herd of people like you who hang out together, have events, and talk? Wasn't it exciting?! Over the years many of us had that experience by discovering the Utah Polyamory Society booth at the Utah Pride Festival in Salt Lake. The opportunity to network that way is rapidly expanding and we want in!
An additional Pride Festival was started in Provo a couple years ago for the folks down south, and this year one is starting in Ogden for those up north. This is all very affirming for the queer community and their allies, many of whom are also poly! There are still tons of people out there who’ve yet to learn about our group, these festivals provide a huge opportunity to find them! We want a booth at each but fiscally we're on empty right now. Expenses include booth fees, insurance, signage, etc. Please help us attend by donating, so we can make contact with more of our peers. This is such an exciting summer for all of us with alternative lives, connection and celebration are in order. :D
