The Shoebox Kids

I am teaming up with my children, Mario & Khamryn to provide Christmas gifts to homeless children here in Indy.
We are collecting shoeboxes and decorating them in Christmas-themed wrapping paper and putting toys as well as needed items (hats, gloves, scarves) in them.
Our personal goal is to have 50-60 shoeboxes filled with items for each child. Once done, we are donating the boxes to the Julian Center ( a resource for homeless women and children who've experienced domestic violence- www.juliancenter.org).
We are no longer in need of shoeboxes thanks to TJ Maxx in Castleton who volunteered to provide as many as we need.
All monetary donations will be used to purchase wrapping paper, tape, toys, crayons, coloring books, hats, scarves, gloves and any other items that may benefit these children.
More than anything, we are hoping to encourage others to help our community in any way they can :)
