Débuting in its current format in April 2010, The Motorsport Archive is a website dedicated to producing high quality content from the
world of motorsport, with a specialist eye on its junior categories.
The site also features podcasts and Q&A sessions with drivers and key personnel from the world of motorsport.
So what is this GoFundMe page all about then? Well, it's quite simple really.
Up until now, this venture has been self-funded, with much money spent on site updates, travelling and accommodation and all the other elements needed to cover motor racing.
With the aid of donations, it is my pledge to increase exclusive content on the site, while also maintaining the quality of the works posted.
As an aside to that, all donations will be split evenly with a charitable organisation. Who knows? It may also fund a ham sandwich or two on a race weekend. ;)
I am passionate about motorsport and what I do on the blog and will continue to pursue it as long as is possible - it is something that I want to eventually do professionally.
In 2011, The Motorsport Archive became an active member of the motorsport media, covering the Cooper Tyres British Formula 3 Series from numerous venues around the United Kingdom and Europe.
That role has expanded in 2012, thanks to the inclusion of coverage from several rounds of the FIA European Formula 3 Championship / Formula 3 Euro Series.
Alongside its race coverage, The Motorsport Archive carries numerous features, podcasts, interviews and historical pieces.
Since its debut, several drivers from the world of Formula 1, IndyCar and Europe's top feeder championships have made appearances on The Motorsport Archive, including current Formula 1 drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Daniel Ricciardo.
Rising stars such as Alexander Rossi (Formula Renault 3.5), Felipe Nasr (GP2) and 2012 GP3 racers Conor Daly, Mitch Evans and Alice Powell have also featured, alongside such motorsport veterans like Justin Wilson, Giancarlo Fisichella and Mark Blundell.
Thanks so much for your time in looking at this.
