The Hunger Truck

We are excited and grateful to launch our newest project: The Hunger Truck. 

For the past 6 years, Muslims Giving Back has been feeding the homeless in NYC. Every Friday and Saturday night, we distribute more than 350 Hot & Fresh meals to the homeless. Since the pandemic started, the lines have increased and the demand is more than ever. We created this project to increase our capacity and go mobile in order to service the homeless and low income communities all around NYC.

With your help, we can serve thousands of hot meals to those in need in NYC. This truck is a representation of our faith. Millions will see it while it drives ALL over NYC for the next decade to help those in need. 

Please support this Sadaqa Jariyah and Zakat eligible project. Our goal is $25,000 to help cover the costs of the truck and customization of it. The truck is fully equipped with a steam table to keep food hot and fresh, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee machine.
