"The Costco Guy"

Donation protected
Arlie Smith, 45 is "The Costco Guy". Everyone can only wish they had a Costco Guy like ours at the Danville, CA Costco.

He was diagnosed with primary progressive MS (Multiple Sclerosis) years ago and last September told he now has terminal bone cancer, with maybe two years to live.

Personally, he has seen my children grow up and has made us all smile during all of our shopping trips to Costco over the many years.  When he used to cashier we would wait in his line even if it was longer than all the others. (Yes, he is really that good.) He is now the first and last person you see as you enter and leave Costco. Drawing happy faces on the receipts for all the little ones.

Some wonderful people in our community got donations from shoppers to give him and his wife a vacation at his favorite spot in Laguna Beach.  (You can view the news video in the link.)

Despite all the challenges they face, they continue to be positive, loving and  so inspiring.  Please consider donating so Arlie and his wife can spend more precious time together.

Thank You!
