Help Sanaa raise money for our festival!

Sanaa is a movement created for artists by artists to promote free expression in others by highlighting the struggles and triumphs of ourselves. Monthly parties serve as the social aspect of our movement which provide an organic, sincere atmosphere that's main focus is the perpetuation of creative culture and fellowship among like minded people. The Sanna project is dedicated to ensuring that artist have access and exposure to the work and efforts of other artist in their communities. The Sanaa community strives to uphold a non-elitist standard where artist of all backgrounds may feel welcome and celebrated. We believe in the power of networking, and encourage artist to build and share their own networks - creating self sufficient artist communities.

  On August 2nd Sanaa will be expanding into an annual  festival. This year's theme is "identity" - specifically touching on misrepresentation and under representation. We will be utilizing spaces in and around the Mt Rainier artist lofts to create an indoor- outdoor atmosphere. The festival will include live music performances and Dj sets, 3 indoor curated art exhibits, Poetry, live painting , vendors and food trucks as well as information booths for several non profits who do good work in the community. Because Sanaa firmly believes in economically acessible art the festival will be free, but we will be accepting donations for Mousai ( an organization that provides free art programs in the community.
