The Mayimba Project is a soon to be non-profit organization that focuses on helping survivors of any type of abuse or neglect. Some of these can include, but are not limitted to, previous sexual abuse, molestation, lgbt, suicide, cutters, and depression. We are a huge group of people trying our best to make this world a better place by using motivational messages and deeds to change peoples outlook on life. Why survivors vs warriors you might ask? Because survivors live with the past, but warriors fight to keep the past where it belongs! We are warriors starting a army that will defeat anddestroy negativity.
The Mayimba Project is the light at the end of the tunnel. We have monthly meetings that allow survivors to get together and share their experinces. We also have different activities around the city that allow us to send a positive message to the world such as helping the homeless, doing makeovers on survivors, providing food and job placement for those in need. Overall, this project wants to make a difference.
Our goals are to set up a nation wide tour to travel to different cities and speak at different schools for all ages in our audience. We would like to set up a facility, or a shelter where those who feel that they have no escape, know who they can turn to. In this facility, we will provide a variety of programs that will assist the survivors in healing, job placement, and life reconstruction for a better future. We will be doing monthly makeovers on selected survivors to help boost their self esteem. We will be sponsoring any related events/organizations who assist in changing lives for the better. We will be offering interventions services. The Mayimba Project makes every move with their survivors best interest.
