I'm trying to raise money to help pay for the costs of going to Sao Vicente, Brazil to represent the United States at the World Championships of Armwrestling September 10th - 16th.
I qualified for Worlds in Reno, NV at the Unifieds National Championships by placing second left and right handed in the 199 - 220 lb. weight class.
I am a 220 lb. Armwrestler, but in the 199 - 242 lb. right hand weight class, I am currently ranked number 7 in the US and number 8 in North America. I am also the overall best left handed and runner-up right handed in Colorado in all weight classes.
I take this sport VERY seriously and train 5-6 days a week 2-3 hours a day at Z's Training Gym in Fort Collins, CO. I'm striving to be the best and I believe that hard work is the way to get there.
I also train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Z's and recently won the Colorado State Championships in the White Belt Gi category. I was very pleased considering this was my first tournament. The addition of BJJ has drastically helped my armwrestling in overall fitness, mental toughness, and obviously arm and grip strength.
I've taken on the nickname of the Juggernaut. I feel that this is an appropriate nickname for me because it's how I approach everything in life.
