"Sweet M" Adoption Travel Fund

Almost three years ago we started on our journey to adopt a child from Ethiopia. In late-November 2012 we finally received a referral. We have a little girl waiting for us in Addis Ababa. In mid-April we travelled for our court date in Addis Ababa. Recent changes in Ethiopian law required us to meet M before the our date in Ethiopian court (this court date had been previously completed in absentia.) We passed court, so now Sweet M is legally ours.
Now that we have completed the court phase we have returned home to New York and must await immigration approval of the US government. Our beautiful daughter remains in Ethiopia with a picture book and pillow from us in her crib until we return.

Upon review of our case we will receive a date for an appearance in the US Embassy in Addis Ababa and be able to bring Sweet Baby M home. Needless to say, a second pair of round trip tickets halfway across the globe is a significant financial undertaking, especially with a new baby. This fund will help cover some of our international travel expenses to bring our little, brown bean home. Thank you for any amount you are able to contribute.
