My dog Lexa suffers from Lyme...
My dog Lexa suffers from Lyme disease and is very ill and in need of several blood transfusions. After being disconnecte3d by a veterinary hospital in RI because I didn't have 3000.00 up front to pay them I am now trying to raise money to get her the treatment she needs. Lexa Bean is Yvette's dearest friend and greatest companion and she is gravely ill and in need of a blood transfusion which is expensive. Her story was recently covered this past week in RI, for WPRI Channel 12 News http://www.wpri.com/dpp/news/12_for_action/medical-expenses-may-mean-losing-pets
She is in desperate need of a veterinary hospital and they are refusing treatment until Yvette pays 100% of the bill up front which she does not have.
This is a proud woman who is currently raising her three amazing sons by herself, while working every job possible to keep things going and despite all the shit life has throw at her over the years, this strong wonderful woman has kept it together for her sons and now one of her best friend, LexaBean, is in need of desperate medical care.
I've set this page up without Yvette's knowledge to appeal to all dog lovers all pet lovers to donate and help LexaBean get the care she needs, and in return I will keep this page updated with her progress and even share a few photos of this wonderful creature that has served as protector, confidant and best friend for many years.

Update on Lexa: Her Red Blood count is still at 19% which is very low but her dr. gave me some great ideas for her. He gave me a regimen of vitamins and liver to get her blood count up a bit till I raise the money to get her the Blood Transfusion she needs. It's not an answer but it will help keep her stable a bit longer. That's the short end of what he explained to me. Fingers crossed!
