Imagine a place that the unwanted, unneeded and unloved cats can go. A home that allowed them to thrive to be happy, healthy and cared for by cat people. A place where they can run unhindered by people, codes, cages and dogs. A place where other cat people can come find the cat for them and volunteer to help. A ranch that would be dedicated to the majestic cats that they are.
We want to build this place in the Western Slope of Colorado because there are alot of unwanted cats that live here and there isn't a place big enough for all of them. All facilities are at capacity. Most places have them caged in. We would like to have a free roaming ranch where they can climb trees and be cats.
Our vision of a Cat Ranch, calls for us to find a piece of land that is big enough to put all the unwanted cats. Here the cats would get the training, care and awareness they need in order to prepare them for human homes and have fun in the inturn time. The Cat Ranch would be equipt with trees, tunnels, perches and toys incorporated into all areas of the property.
By creating a sanctuary for the kitties and joining together with the network of cat advocates & cat lovers everywhere we can make a difference in the lives of many kitties in need of our help.
