Let's be honest. We're all frustrated with the embarrassing and painful decline of our Suns organization over the last 5+ years. We've made changes to our players, coaching staff, and management, but one group hasn't changed - ownership. My personal opinion is Robert Sarver isn't qualified to run an NBA team.
The cost: I've reached out to a billboard company and got the cost to run a billboard for one week. $1,650 will allow us to run an ad on one billboard for a week.
We can choose a total of three different ad copies and can specificy when each will run. Perhaps we would want to run a specific ad copy during when Suns games are played vs. other hours of the day.
The goal for this campaign is $1,650 which ensures at least one digital billboard for one week and covers all gofundme fees. Should we raise more than the goal, every penny will go towards additional billboards and/or run time.
The design: The design will be simple. It will display "#SarverOut" (or perhaps a different hashtag if somebody has a better idea) with Suns colors and a basketball. The billboard rep said we can't use any copyrighted info (Suns logo), but can use Suns colors (purple and orange) along with a generic basketball. I will post a few different mock-up designs and the one with the highest votes will be the one usesd. If you have a better text/design idea, I'm all ears!
Who am I? You might ask who I am. My name is Alex and I've been a resident of The Valley and Suns fan for 10+ years. I'm organizaing this campaign because I feel our Suns deserve better ownership. I'm not here to make a dime off this campaign. I plan on spending every penny raised to the #SarverOut campaign.
