My name is Jason. I have spent the past nine years working as a mechanical engineer. Recently, I have been on fire with a couple big ideas that will revolutionize two major industries and I need help getting my ideas off the ground.
Starting a business is expensive. My ideas aren’t just something I can tinker with on my laptop or in my garage. I am new to being an entrepreneur and I need to begin building my team and gathering the resources I need to beat the odds and get my game changing products to market.
I plan on completely changing the way everyone buys his or her insurance. My cutting edge delivery system would not only give consumers unprecedented access to easy to understand information about how everything from life insurance to auto insurance works, but also make it easier to compare prices and get bids from major carriers. I want to tear down the gatekeepers in the insurance industry that try and lock the rest of us out from the knowledge of how policies are priced and what the true profit margins are.
My second idea is even bigger. I have created a new way to look at transportation. Because designs are still being finalized, a prototype must be built, and patents secured, I cannot share too much about the concept publicly. But, I have put all my engineering and creative skills behind this idea. The new company will not only produce a revolutionary new mode of transportation that will take cars off the street, but it will work in such a way to give everyone access, not just the mega-rich.
I am still at the very beginning of my journey. Later on I will need to raise millions of dollars to pull these projects off. But, today I am only seeking to raise enough money to finalize my presentation materials and to get me to a once in a lifetime event in New York City where I will be able to meet with some of the greatest entrepreneurial minds and I will have a chance to recruit them for my team. They have skills, knowledge, and access that I lack. I know enough about being an entrepreneur to know I need to build the best team for my ideas to have any chance.
