Rylei, The miracle baby

Donation protected
Rylei was born with Anencephaly. Doctors didn’t expect this beautiful miracle to last longer than birth. She was born Dec 24th 2018 and has completely shocked all the doctors. As of today, Dec 28th 2018, Rylei is still alive and will be going home this coming Wednesday! She’s breathing, eating and opening her eyes! Mom and dad are in awe and in shock. They did not expect to bring this beauty home. They have nothing ready for her. They also do not have transportation. As mentioned, this was a shock. According to doctors something like this wasn’t even an option.

So, with that said, I am helping to raise money for the cost of them a reliable vehicle to get Rylei back and forth to future appointments and also for them to be able to purchase any items needed.

I will keep this updated daily for everyone.

The latest update from today

From mom!

If anyone wants to help donate to items, please contact us! Wednesday they will be home with this beauty!

Update of the day:
Miss Rylei has now been breathing on her own for 93 hours (3 hours short of 4 days). Her oxygen is 91+ and her heart rate is between 132-145.
We're having some window time today because little bit has some jaundice going on. We tried the billy blanket last night, but it stressed her out and caused her vitals to go down.
She's still eating like a champ and her personality is really starting to emerge. If you all could have only seen the mad face I got today when I cut skin-to-skin short because I had to pee. She was giving me the stink eye hardcore lol.
We were offered the option of going home today or Wednesday after the holiday. We decided we are more comfortable giving her a few more days in here because she does have some brain matter exposed up top. I would feel horrible if we took her home and she ended up with an infection. Plus, we weren't exactly prepared to come how with a baby, so this also gives us some time to get things together lol.
By the way, she loves the binkies, Cristina Flores!
Thank you all again for keeping up with her story and all of the kind words and messages you have all sent. I still can't believe we will have the chance soon to take our little frog home
We hope you all have a wonderful day, thank you!

Previous updates from before today
Here is an update for everyone who has been asking:
Our little frog is doing great.
Her oxygen and heart rate have both been steady.
She has been really putting away some breast milk. (Photos inculde a milk-drunk smile lol.)
She's still beating all of the odds and I cannot help but to be amazed as I look at the little girl lying beside me. She has shown me what true love is in such a short amount of time.
Thank you all for all of your likes and shares and beautiful words. You all are building my little girl up to be so much more than we ever expected. I've been dreaming of being able to be this close to her for just a little longer than we were told. I never imagined that I would get to share 3 days with this beautiful little soul.
They are even talking about wanting to send us home soon with hospice care because she's doing so well. I'm so scared about leaving with her, but I would also love to get out of this hospital. It's a decision Derek Lovett Derek Lovett Jr.Derek Lovett Jr. and I will be discussing soon.
