Help Support The Road Warriors

The Golden State Road Warriors is a nonprofit organization in the Northern California Bay Area. We provide individuals with a physical disability the opportunity to learn and compete in wheelchair basketball. As a team, we compete at one of the highest levels in the United States as part of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA). Our 9-person team, coached by Paul Jackson is enjoying another successful season so far this season 


We would like to  ask for your help to raise the funds needed to continue our 2015 season. We have completed the first half of our scheduled games but need support to get to our remaining tournaments. This includes attending the 66th NWBA National Championships that we have recently qualified for that will take place April 16th-19th in Louisville, KY. Our remaining funds needed to be raised are $7,500. Your donation will help 9 athletes and our head coach travel, compete and purchase needed equipment. 


The Golden State Road Warriors have given disabled athletes the opportunity to learn and play competitive wheelchair basketball for over 37 year. Our success has been measured on and off the court. Along with providing athletes with the joy of competitive sports, we are actively involved in the community. We love to attend events where we can share our experiences and educate the community about the positive impact adaptive sports can have for a person with a disability.
