The Resistance Journals was first launched in 2012, by Andrew Pontbriand. The website was first hosted on Blogger where it remained until May of 2015. During this time, we decided to make the switch to WordPress.com to maintain a professional page.
The new Website was launched and we have done our best to maintain a crisp, smooth, professional website.
The Resistance Journals is more than just a blog filled with articles and advertising. 95% of our material is exclusive content that you won't find on any other alternative media page, with the 5% that is not original content being news stories of the day.
With the continual upgrades and additions still being done to the site, come new challenges. So far, the website is ran by one person, Andrew Pontbriand. Although from time to time he does have some help, basically every aspect of the website including the articles, videos and editing are all done by Andrew. This is no easy task as he also maintains a full-time job in addition to his activism. The amount of time Andrew dedicates to freedom is tremendous, sometimes writing as many as 4-5 articles per day, including videos and special reports. Activism is his life, with the rewards being hope for a better world, and opening eyes to those around him.

What We Need
It is very, very difficult to run a website that gets thousands of views per day by yourself, with just a cell phone. Currently, Andrew writes, edits, posts, shares, researches, and records videos all with his Motorola Moto e cell phone. Still able to produce good quality content, it is just not plausible.
To keep the website going and delivering original content, educational material, and news articles, we need to acquire a laptop/tablet. It is much too difficult to properly execute the tasks at hand with just a cell phone, as certain platforms and programs needed to run a high quality Alternative Media website are incompatible with the phone.
We are asking for a very modest $280 to at least purchase ONE new or used laptop that will allow ease of use, and better upkeep for the website.

We have big plans for The Resistance Journals, and it can only be possible with your help. Unless you are a big name Media Mogul, activists like Andrew struggle daily to afford their lifestyle. Activism does not pay, but we do it for a better world. We hope we can acquire contributions IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, so we can continue to provide our readers/viewers with the best content we can. The Resistance Journals is not free to run, as WordPress costs money. We will also soon add a PayPal donation button to the website, which will be done after we acquire the laptop. Any and all support is GREATLY appreciated. If you cannot support us monetarily, please consider sharing this to pages, groups, your own page, emails, and wherever you can. That is sometimes the greatest donation you can make!
