A juicy life is what I always wanted to live, but never seemed to find it. This is an accounting of my search for that Divine juicy life that always seemed to evade me, and how I am finding and remembering my Divine self - one sweet, sometimes bitter, often messy, bite at a time."
Over the years I've had several friends suggest that I should write my story. My reply was always, "Who wants to read about me? Why on EARTH would someone want to look deep inside me and see the real me and my rough and tumble journey of this lifetime?" This is my journey of finding myself again and remembering...of cutting through the stories and self-lies, climbing out from the darkest depths of despair, and my triumph over bipolar, breakdowns, and PTSD.
Well, thanks to someone who lit a fire under me and told me I couldn't do it, I am NOW writing that book. I've gotten most of it finished, with 2 more chapters to add, then on to the fun part - the final revision and preparation for publishing.
I am self publishing, and this means financial assistance is needed with professional copyediting and developmental editing (even though that is what I do, a second eye is a MUST), formatting and layout, cover and author professional photography, licensing/ISBN, printing of initial book run, and massive marketing (social media, radio, magazine, promos, flyers), and a book launch reception.
Anything over the goal will go toward travel expenses for book signings and extra book orders. And, let's face it, I'd love to have a stunning, extraordinary outfit for launching my literary love-child!
