We have a friend from our...

We have a friend from our hometown of Ballinger, TX who is making "Prayer Bows" to help support Brooke and Preslee... each one is different but with all the same color scheme (Red- for CHD Awareness)... We received ours in the mail and they are awesome and would look great on any little girl!! These Bows are the kind that little girls wear, or if your feeling funky, you wear! Or you can clip it to your visor, fridge, flower arrangement... SOMETHING that will spark your mind to lift these girls up! Every time you see your Prayer bow, say a little prayer for Preslee and her Mom :) If anyone is interested let me or let one of my sisters know and we will get your order to Kristie. Once you have received your one of a kind bow, Please donate at least $20.00 ( $3.00 S&H) to the GoFundme account so we can help my sister and Preslee through her surgeries. Preslee's Major Repair Surgery will be in about 4 months so lets all send parayers and support their way!

They brought me 3 boxes full...

They brought me 3 boxes full of NG feeding tube and accessories. I also just finished putting the NG tube in Preslee all by myself! Must say im very proud of myself :) This Is going to be quite the journey while having this tube in for sure. Yesterday was not a very good day... They took her off one of her medicines and it made her fussy and her heart rate was in the 180s to 200s all day long, she couldn't sleep much either and when she did she would fall into a deep sleep and her oxygen levels drops to 60s so they put her on a little oxygen, put her back on the medicine and she is doing a lot better today... Well except for me pissing her off putting the tube in, sorry baby girl! I am so ready to try and get some sleep. God bless!

Prayers for Preslee:

I am opening this page for my sister Brooke. Excited to be having her first baby she was given some very scary news...her baby would be born with a Severe Congenital Heart Defect. Baby Preslee has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Atresia with a VSD as well as Major AortoPulmonary Collateral Ateries. She will be born at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston. At this time Brooke has met with the babies team of Cardiologist, NICU, and Surgeons who are unable to give her any answers to help ease her anxiety's. Because Brooke lives about an hour from the hospital where the baby will be she will have to stay in Houston or drive back and forth. The Ronald McDonald house is an option for her although it is by first come first serve and she must check out each day at 9pm and call the next morning to be put on a waiting list. If there is no room she must find other alternatives. We are two weeks away from the babies birth and Brooke is definately feeling stresses already. The expenses for her to stay in Houston at Ronald McDonald house/hotels or to drive back and forth are tremendous. Please use this page to send prayers for Preslee and Brooke or to donate to help her with the expenses she is about to endure. We will continue to post updates here on baby Preslee and Brooke so you can continue to pray for them.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of Preslee's supporters !! Our family will be giving thanks this year to all of the special people and friends who have sent prayers and donations. We are very blessed to have two new babies (Evan Cole Watkins and sweet little Preslee) join our family this year especially after the tragic loss of our dad. We know he is in heaven watching over Preslee and telling god how precious she is to our family. Evan cannot wait to get to play with his cousin Preslee and be her buddy!! We want everyone to know you will be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers this holiday season! Thank you from the Cole, Ryan, Mays, Whisenhunt, Robertson, Priest, Ogle and Hayden family! I want to say thank you to all the generous people who have donated to this fund. Our family will be forever grateful. I will be going to see Brooke and baby Preslee tomorrow and will post updates and pics both here and on Preslee's Facebook page. I want to say. Special thank you to Brooke's sister Shelby for setting up the fund page and doing such an awesome job of keeping everyone informed. Shelby, you are an awesome big sister and the best aunt a little girl could have!!! We love you!

Brooke has been staying with us for the last two weeks on bed rest preparing for the arrival of baby Preslee. These two weeks have been so precious to us. We have laughed, cried and shared so much together. Preslee has been given the gift of having the best mommy in the universe!!! We cannot wait to meet you sweet baby girl......!

also remember, if you stay at a hotel, ask for the medical rate, we do this in dallas when we have to go to Childrens and Scottish Rite, some of the hospitals even have room in rooms for new moms!
