Every great idea starts with a joke. Not really, but this one did. #PizzaGate is the story of how Saint Louis FC and Louisville City FC did or did not provide adequate food for the away team on 2 separate occasions. The truth may never be known.
@77_Dredd, one of the Coopers (St. Louligans' rival supporter group from Louisville) started a GoFundMe page to raise money to bring food to our tailgate. Those of you who've been to one of our tailgates know that we're never short of food or beverage. We decided it would be better to focus our energy on raising money for a good cause and turn it into a friendly competition.
So... Our GoFundMe campaign is to raise money to donate to the St. Louis Area Foodbank. It's a charity we've supported before and are happy to do again. ALL money raised on this campaign will go directly to charity.
We thank you for your support. Let's beat those Coopers and raise more money than they can.
