RA / debt reduction

Donation protected
In 2003 I graduated from VTC with 25000 in school debt and immediatetly was diagnosed with Rheaumatoid Arthritis, I was 50 years old.

My intention was to improve my life, I had hit a cieling in my profesion of mechanic and felt the only way to advance was to get a degree.

During the process of getting my degree I had used all my savings and a divorce ruined my credit.

I was able to work for a year driving truck long haul, this alowed me to pay down my debt some and reestablish my credit. After a year my diease progressed to the point i could no longer work.  At this point i applied for social security and it was granted,

After assessing my situation I decided I could no  longer pay my mortgage and had to sell my house for what I owed on it. I had to liquidate all my posesions and came out prety near even, except for school loans.

The VA hospital helped out with medications but my situation was going to get mush worse if I didnt take drastic action, so I decided to move to a place I could afford to live within my means. I moved to the Philippines. This worked out financialy for a while, I met a girl and trusted her to watch my stuff when I went back after a year to see doctor at VA.  I  had set up a household with furnicher and appliances as rent was cheaper unfurnished. When I came back all my things were gone. No way of retriving them either.

After a while I met and married anouther good girl and set about setting up a new apartment.  She takes care of my physical needs, so i dont need any help there.

Now I finally am self sufficiant but in the process of setting up two houses I am now in debt 20,000 and every month I get deeper. I thought I could manage to live on 400 a month while paying down the debt but every month there is always some new emergency, mostly medical, six months ago it was pnumonia, before that a heart attack, after that kiddney stones, Enlarged Prostate, there is always some infection as the medicine I take for the arthritis lowers my immune system. the medical bills are lower here but they still add up.

I am at the point now where my hands  are totally deformed and compleatly useless. My feet are not much better, whole body is in pretty bad shape.

I am not a person to ask for help, but I need to get to a place where i can not only support my wife and myself but also maybe afford to see my grand children before I die.

Thanks for reading my sobstory. Have a blessed day.
