This is an appeal for cash to fund a campaign of resistance and counter propaganda to the Talisman Sabre US - Australian military exercises at Shoalwater Bay 15 July - 5 August.
These war rehearsals are the biggest in the southern hemisphere, engaging more than 23,000 troops and costing us tax payers more than $50 mill.
They are a time and a place when the cost of the US military alliance becomes most visible as boots on the ground
Talisman Sabre is about "interoperability" and its aim to make the Australian military a seamless proxy army for present and future US imperial wars such as we have seen in Afghanistan and Iraq and now see building in Syria.
Both the Labor and Liberal National Coalition Parties, in government and without, have colluded to keep the truth about endless US wars and the toxic nature of the US Alliance out of the Parliament and away from the Australian people.
Help us make war and the preparation for war an election issue in this election year.
With your help we will organise street protests, speak outs, anon-violent direct actions and "wilderness peace pilgrimages" onto the Shoalwater Exercise Area to disrupt Talisman Sabre.
