Dogs 4 PTSD Veterans

Donation protected
1994 while deployed on a United Nations Peacekeeping mission in Croatia. I was returning from an observation post when I was ambushed by approximately 25 Serbian soldiers standing on the road. As I drove through the crowd then opened fire. I was shot twice and received shrapnel in my right arm. My passenger was shot seven times four in the back of his head. I continued serving deployed two  more times to Bosnia. I was eventual medically released from the military in 2008 due to PTSD.

This year I competed in the Invictus Games in Toronto for team Canada.
I have been compelled by adaptive sports and want to get more involved in them.
During the training and the games I witnessed veterans with service dogs for their PTSD. I was how much of a help these animals bring. I also listened to friends who have tried but could not get service dogs do to the cost and unavailability of PTSD service animals.

I want to help, find ways to make it easier for veterans who suffer from PTSD to get service dogs. Please help me in my goals to help others achieve theirs.
