Orange County Black History Parade & Cultural Faire
The purpose of the OC Black History Parade & Cultural Faire is to promote the knowledge that African Americans have been, are, and will continue to be contributors to the vitality of Orange County California. Our focus is on a proud Black History and African American heritage. This is an annual event that began 35 years ago and we want to be a permanent part of cultural celebrations in The OC.

The event is organized by the Orange County Heritage Council (OCHC), a 501(c)(3) non profit organization #26-3664282. OCHC is comprised of individuals, families, churches and community organizations collaborating to host the event and is an all volunteer group.

How Will Your Donation Be Used?
The OC Black History Parade & Cultural Faire is open to all. Admission and parking are free because we want the entire community of all ethnicities to come, learn about Black History and African-American heritage, and celebrate the day without any cost barriers. Your generous donation will enable the Orange County Heritage Council to host an exciting and beautiful parade and cultural faire on Saturday February 7, 2015 in Downtown Anaheim for all to enjoy. OCHC incurs expenses such as event venue rental, sound system, stage, seating, transportation, street closure, street sweeping, sanitation, equipment, parade banners and marketing.

Grassroots Community Support
Support from individuals, families, churches, community groups and small businesses form the foundation of financial support for this year’s event and allow us to immediately begin planning next year’s festivities. City/County funding and corporate sponsorship provides supplemental money, however these funds are subject to annual budget review and severe constraints during recessions.

Your donation, of any amount, is greatly appreciated and will be acknowleged
