Here is Sweet Judy Blue Nose in a picture running in the snow (with her new owner). She is happy, healthy, and loving life now. This was all possible because of people like you who have donated over the past year to help pay her medical bills. Bless you all for your unselfishness! You made a very tragic story into a story with a very happy ending! If she could talk, she would say thank you to all of you and send all her love!
Hi All.....It's been a month now since Sweet Judy Blue Nose (aka Marley) came into our lives and literally changed them for ever. She survived her surgery and has recovered magnificently, she spent a week in foster care with a wonder Tracy Couple in a very loving home, then this past Saturday she met her new Momma and was adopted into he forever home. Yay for Marley. She and I were down a long bumpy road together this past month, but she is now where she was meant to be...in a warm loving home. Below is a picture of her new Momma picking her up at the foster home on Saturday....and I've heard from Mom a few times since that she is snuggling up to Mom and playing like a happy dog again. I'm going to miss her, but know that she will have a happy life from here on out, and that makes what we do at Noah's Ark Foundation all worth while.
We are still about $3,000 short of paying back our benefactor for the surgery, and would like to encourage you to continue to pass on this donation site to your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, and encourage them to make a donation so we can pay off her surgery, and to gather funds for future "Marley's".
Thank you all so much for your generous contributions and for supporting Noah's Ark Foundation of Tracy in our Mission to care for sick and injured animals that are in danger of immediate euthanization. That's what we do...."Saving Animal's Lives....one at a time"!
Hi All.......we are going into week 3 of Sweet Judy Blue Noses recovery from a devastating pelvis injury. Her condition was guarded when she first came home from surgery, as neurological damage was a concern in her right leg. But in the past few weeks this little survivor has made tremendous strides in her recovery. We have been sling walking her for the past few weeks and she is making such great strides in her recovery, that she will likely be putting full weight on it in the next few days. So now, we are reaching out to find her a new home. This little girl is a real sweetheart, and would make a great pet for someone looking for a loveable dog. If you know of someone who is looking for a great dog and would like to give this great little girl a new home, please let me know. We are running out of time where she is being currently boarded and need to find her a home soon!
Hi all....Sweet Judy Blue Nose is doing better each day of her recovery. Her right leg was showing some signs of possible nerve damage as she was initially "knuckling it under" when she walked, but in the past few days she's been walking on the pad again, which is great improvement and a sign of continued recovery. She still needs our help financially to cover her vet bills, so any donation you can make is sincerely appreciated. We need to try and reach our goal of $7,000 as soon as possible, so please continue to tell friends, associated, family, coworkers, etc. Your assistance and the assistance of your contacts is greatly appreciated!
Hi Everybody......as you can see, we have raised $813 so far on gofundme, and about another $500 in private donations, which is really great but still a long ways from being able to pay for Sweet Judy Blue Nose's surgery bill. Please help us meet our goal by telling friends, neighbors, coworkers, relatives, etc about our fundraising site....every little bit helps.
Also, our precious pup is going to be available for fostering / adoption in the next couple of days, so if you know of anyone who would like to adopt or foster this very special and loveable dog, please let me now at email@example.com or call me at (209) 740-7211. Thanks again so much for all your help! Sincerely, Larry Hite CEO/Founder, Noah's Ark Foundation of Tracy Inc.
Hi Everybody.....well, it's just over a week since Sweet Judy Blue Eyes caught the heart of Noah's Ark Foundation of Tracy, and a lot has transpired. Our little 1 year old pit-bull mix had orthopedic surgery on her crushed pelvis last Saturday by an orthopedic specialist in Sacramento and is now back with a grateful tail wagging, lots of kisses, and a new lease on life. Had we not stepped in, she would have been destroyed last Monday, and had we not received the generous outpouring of support we could not have prevented that from happening. As you can see above, we still have a long ways to go to pay for her surgery and vet bills, but the kind donations you have been giving are helping us pay that bill down. We still need a lot of financial support to finish this project, so please tell your friends, relatives, coworkers, neighbors, clients etc., about this site and encourage them to help out. We've been averaging about $117 a day and would like to keep that up. Nothing is impossible if you have the will to make it happen, and that is our philosophy at Noah's Ark. We've been in the business of saving animals from certain destruction for a little over two years now, and we've helped a lot of animals along the way have brighter futures...but it's been all because of people like yourself who donate so generously to be the voice for animals in need. Thanks again for your support......Larry Hite, CEO/Founder Noah's Ark Foundation of Tracy Inc.
Hi everybody..here's the update on Sweet Judy Blue Nose. She came through surgery with flying colors yesterday evening. Her recovery was good with minimal pain. She is currently on IV pain meds(Fentanyl & Metacam) and is being weaned off the Fentanyl by tonite. She has been eating and holding food down (since she is now off the Morphine), went out for a walk today (woo hoo), and best of all, she wagged her tail today for the first time since being admitted an even bigger woo hoo). We still have a lot of money to raise to pay for all of this, so please guide your friends to this site to make a donation....and again, thank you so much to all of those who have donated to this project to date! We love you all! God Bless You All......Larry
It is 5:35 pm on Saturday April 5th, and our girl is currently in surgery. I will be calling the hospital in the morning to find out how surgery went and give you another update. I spoke to one of the surgical technicians and she said that the surgery will be quite lengthy because of the seriousness of the fracture, but I've been praying to God that all is going to be very good when she wakes up and can soon be whole again and running and playing.
We have now raised close to $700.00 in personal donations and donations thru gofundme.com. This is great and I whole heartedly thank each and every person who has donated....if our dog could speak, I know she would say to each of you "Thank you for giving me a new lease on life."
$700 is a great start and we are about 1/10th of the way there. Please pass our funding site on to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, family, etc., and encourage them to donate. It's going to take a lot of money to pay for this dog's surgery, but I know we can do it with the help of you and your friends.
Thank you all again so much, and stay tuned to an update on surgery tomorrow!
"Sweet Judy Blue Nose" is now en-route to Sacramento to have surgery on her shattered pelvis tomorrow morning. We will be getting her back in the Tracy area sometime early next week. I'm currently seeking a good foster home for her in the Tracy Area until she can be adopted out.
We also need to keep the donations coming in. We have several hundred in through this donation page and from mailed in and dropped of donations, but as you can see we need a LOT more.
We have been working hard to save this dogs life and make her whole again, but we can't do it without your support. Please pass this on to your friends, co-workers, family, neighbors, etc. to make a donation. This dog needs all the help we can muster up for her.
For those who have already donated, thank you so much for your kindness and unselfish giving to help her out....she knows that people are taking care of her and helping her out. She looked really alert today!
Thursday 4/3/14 7:45 pm....A plan is in place to take "Sweet Judy Blue Nose" (that's my name for her)to Sacramento to the Orthopedic Surgeon tomorrow, hopefully for surgery in the next day or so. She is resting comfortably tonite. As you can see we have set a fundraising goal of $7,000 for surgery, hospitalization, meds, etc. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated through gofundme.com/81j33is. Thank you in advance and stay tuned for Sweet Judy Blue Nose's progress!
God Bless our supporters and the people who have stepped up to help us save this poor dog! We'll keep you posted on how this all works out. Keep her and Noah's Ark in your prayers for a successful effort!
We are raising money to try and help save a young female pit-bull who was recently hit by a car, then abandoned by the owner at a local animal hospital. The dog has recently given birth as well. Xrays show a shattered pelvis requiring surgery in the next few days. If the dog does notget the surgery, she will be destroyed. She is a very sweet dog and doesn't deserve the treatment she has received. We have a benefactor who is ready to pay the vet bill for Noah's Ark, however we need to raise the money to pay him back for doing this. Please help us save this dog!
God Bless You.....
