Nevada, Iowa Mural - Veterans

Nevada, Iowa is my hometown. And like most every town in America, there are Veterans and families of Veterans that live here. Their sacrifices can soon be forgotten in our society as we carry on our busy lives. They rarely mention the pain of being forgotten or put aside. I want to paint a mural to help them know that we havent forgotten what they have done for us. The illustration above is the approved mural design to be used.

I will donate my skills as an artist/graphic designer to paint a  mural to honor our Veterans. It will be located in Hattery Park, also unoffically and affectionately known as North Park by many of our locals; only a block from our local American Legion Outpost. 

The funds donated will be used on the materials of professional mural paint, primer, sealer and brushes. My goal is to start by August and have it completed by Nevada's hometown celebration, Lincoln Highway Days the weekend of August 29.
